Make 2012 A Breakthrough Year – Join A Coaching Program

What is your plan to grow your practice in 2012? Does it include participating in an industry coaching program? If it does not, perhaps you should reconsider.

In a survey we conducted of $1million producers we found that 57% had participated in industry coaching programs. Popular programs included Strategic Coach, CEG’s Cultivating the Affluent, Ron Carson’s Peak Productions, and Securities America’s Next Level program. An interesting secondary finding was most of the advisors that had participated in a program had actually participated in multiple programs. Why would advisors with the highest production in the industry be such advocates of coaching?

Though one might think those with the highest production have the least amount to learn, $1million dollar advisors in our survey thought differently. Rather, they had a real thirst for learning new techniques and strategies with a constant focus on improving their service to clients. They realize the benefit of continually sharpening the saw to make their business better.
